"There is nothing new under the sun."
A New Way Services INC (ANW) was founded in 2024 by a team of faithful individuals who are committed to building healthy communities in a new way.

We are inspired by charities such as 'World Vision', 'Charity Water', 'The Salvos', and social enterprises like 'The Resilience Project'. These organisations create a lasting impact, and we desire to do the same in our local community, on the Central Coast, NSW, Australia.

Our director, Lewis Jonker, has worked as an artist, public speaker, chaplain, and pastor. He left his full-time role to pursue this charitable endeavour, continuing to uphold the timeless truths that shaped his faith. Now, our focus is on serving local communities; offering support without discrimination and bringing hope to those in need, regardless of their background or their beliefs.

What's with the cactus???
If you’ve come along to one of our events, you might have noticed a glowing green cactus tucked somewhere in the room. It’s become our unofficial logo! Truthfully, it all began with a neon cactus on sale at Kmart. It looked cool, so we bought one. Then we bought a few more. But something unexpected happened... People started giving it meaning! Some say it represents life in the wilderness, a sign of hope where there seems to be none. Others see it as a reminder that life can be prickly, but still beautiful. We also learnt that in some Native American cultures, the cactus stands for strength, endurance, and unconditional love. We never set out to give it meaning, but meaning found its way in. Whatever it represents for you, we love our cactus, and we love the way it quietly shines in every space we create.

At ANW, we remain committed to practical, compassionate action that transforms lives. We see a new way forward, a new way of doing good, a new way of life. We are motivated by our Christian faith, but we are committed to serving others without discrimination.
